During the 2022 season, Troy United FC enjoyed the luxuries of playing their home matches at Troy High School. This location allowed for the club to boast some of the best facilities in the league, while also embedding itself in our community.
In the winter of 2022, the City of Troy voted to approve a Troy School District bond that would allow for wonderful upgrades to the city's school buildings and athletic facilities. As a result, Troy High School and Athens High School will both be renovating their athletic facilities.
While we are incredibly grateful that Troy is receiving an upgrade to its already wonderful athletic facilities, Troy United will temporarily be hosting home matches at The Hawk Community Center in Farmington Hills while this renovation is completed.
"While we are disappointing to temporarily be displaced from our home in Troy, we are thankful that The Hawk has so willingly accommodated our club," says Troy United FC president Louis Osowski. "The Hawk allows our club to remain financially sustainable and meet all standards for Midwest Premier League play."
The Hawk served as the training facility for the club in 2022. Troy United is thankful to maintain such a great relationship with our neighboring community.
During the temporary stay, Troy United will continue to pursue relationships with Troy businesses, organizations, and supporters. We are looking forward to a swift return to Troy after renovations are complete.
